Wrinkle Softening Injections
As we age, we form lines & wrinkles on our face, neck & body. This is due to many factors such as gender, genetics, lifestyle (smoking & alcohol), UV exposure, environmental pollutions and poor skincare compliance. Each of these factors can have a significant impact on your complexion.
One of the ways we can reduce these from appearing, or soften them if they have already formed, is by blocking the muscle movement temporarily with a prescription only toxin via injection.
A full medical consultation with Jo, our Independent Nurse Prescriber, is required prior to any treatment to ensure medical, psychological and physical suitability. Please note that this treatment is not suitable for everyone but there are various ways to address these concerns.
Skin boosters and bio-remodelling

These are injections for the face, neck, decolette, hands and body to improve skin laxity, quality, tone, integrity, texture and appearance. There are different brands of skin booster injections available, dependent upon individual consultation. Some of the most common brands include Profhilo and Sunekos.
Profhilo contains hyaluronic acid and is injected into the lower dermis of the skin for a fabulous glowing, tighter and plumped skin. Slow release of hyaluronic acid stimulates production of collagen and elastin and encourages hydration, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Profhilo can be given as a one off treatment or as a course of 2 treatments, one month apart, following this it can be given every three months or yearly to maintain its wonderful effect. It is suitable for all skin types.
Sunkeos is a mixture of Hyaluronic acid and amnio acids. It can be injected under the eyes in the tear trough region to help with shadowing and loss of volume. As with Profhilo, these skin boosting injections improve the quality of your skin in areas where it is looking tired and dull. This treatment is carried out in 3 appointments, 1 every 14 days for maximum effect.
